Joan Perry Biographical Information
Joan Perry is the founder and President of Take Charge Financial!, a FINRA licensed securities firm, and she has over twenty-five years of experience as an investment banker and active money manager.
Her impressive professional market experience grew from founding the first female investment banking firm in the Country, known as Perry Investments Inc., and the firm structured and underwrote billions of dollars of municipal bonds for government entities, such as the State of California, and Cities of Chicago and Philadelphia – and her firm took risk for major bond positions in the market. Beginning in this capacity and continuing to the active management of money in the markets for individuals and institutions today, Joan demonstrates in-depth trading and market expertise.
This substantial market expertise distinguishes Joan from people who talk about the markets, instructing people with their money, but unlike Joan have not been active money managers in the forces of the markets. Joan’s advice is real, practical and applicable from her solid history and expertise, which she offers in today’s financial markets.
Joan received her MBA from Vanderbilt’s Owen School of Business, with an undergraduate from Denison University, and has become one of the Country’s leading experts on Women and Money. Her book, A Girl Needs Cash, Random House, focuses on enabling women with their wealth.
